Any way I can tell you that my kitten just loves chasing that red dot, even up a wall. The center activates the laser pointer.

This one is a little more touchy on the controls, but seems to work fine. In presentation mode, mouse's right-click is disabled. If you do presentations this is something that make you look more professional.

Software included does not give me the option. It comes with a 3 year warranty.

I had the previous model to this one for about 8 years. They can iogwar away from the computer, even behind people in the audience and it will still work.

It was also easy to install - just plug and play! And this is on the second unit I got as well, so it's not likely a fluke, but rather a design issue.
